Engaging the Blades
EngagingthePTO(BladeEngage)transferspowerto

1. Movethethrottlecontrolleverto theFAST(rabbit)
position.
2. GraspthePTO(BladeEngage)leverand pivotit all
thewayforwardintotheengaged(ON) position.
3. Keepthe throttleleverinthe FAST(rabbit)position
forthemostefficientuseofthecuttingdeckor other
(separatelyavailable)attachments
IMPORTANT:ModelswithReverseCaution Mode:
Theenginewill automaticallyshutoff ifthePTOis
engagedwiththeshiftleverinpositionfor reversetravel
withtheignitionkeyinthe NORMALMOWINGposition.
Models without ReverseCaution Mode:
ThePTO(BladeEngage)levermustbein the disen-
gaged(OFF)positionwhenstartingtheengine,when
travelingin reverse,andiftheoperatorleavesthe seat.
