move shift lever into neutral posi-
tion, stop engine and remove key
to prevent unintended starting.
Ifthetractordoesnot cometo a completestopwhenthe
brakepedaliscompletelydepressed,or ifthe tractor's
rearwheelscanrollwiththeparkingbrakeapplied,the
brakeisinneedofadjustment,Thebrakedisccan be
foundon the rightsideof thetransmissionintherearof
thetractor.Adjustifnecessaryasfollows:
1. Lookingat thetransmissionfromthe right sideof the
tractor,locatethecompressionspringandbrakedisc.

2. Loosen,butdo NOTremove,the hex nutfoundon the
rightsideof the brakeassembly,SeeFigure16,
3. Usingafeelergauge,setthegapbetweenthe brake
discandthebrakepuckat,011",
4. Re4ightenthehexnutloosenedearlier.
