If there are coolant leaks at the intercooler of the MTU Engine, especially with major coolant discharge, contact service.
What to do in case of Water alarm in MTU?
When the maximum water level is reached, the water level electrode opens the water drain valve and water is discharged. If the opening period of the valve exceeds a preset limit (4 minutes), the pump will switch off and an alarm is initiated. Press illuminated pushbutton 'Water alarm' for acknowledgment. In addition to the automatic water drain function, water can also be drained manually: Press illuminated pushbutton 'Water drain'. The water drain valve opens.
What to do for Pre-alarm in MTU?
If the differential pressure exceeded 1.3 bar you should replace coalescer filter element.
