Checking diaphragms
1. Remove cover (4).
2. Take off spring (5), gasket (2) and dia‐
phragm (3).
3. Check diaphragm (3) for damage.
4. Replace diaphragm if damaged.
5. Install diaphragm (3) on housing (1).
6. Install new gasket (2) and spring (5) togeth‐
er with cover (4).
7. Tighten screws of cover (4) to specified tightening torque.

8. Check diaphragms in further oil separators in the same way.
