Why Munters Heater motor will not start?
    • P
      paul68Aug 16, 2025
If the motor of your Munters Heater won't start and the green indicator light is quickly flashing, it could be due to no power or low voltage, a blown fuse, a thermostat set too low, or a faulty power cord, extension cord, motor, or capacitor. Check the power supply and voltage. Try resetting the heater by turning the On/Off switch to O and then to I. Replace the fuse if it's blown. Turn the thermostat knob clockwise to a higher setting. Inspect and replace the power cord, extension cord, motor, or capacitor if needed.

What to do if Munters JAZ 42 motor runs but fuel does not ignite?
    • D
      delgadojohnAug 23, 2025
If the motor of your Munters Heater runs, but the fuel does not ignite and the heater shuts off after 5 seconds, it could be due to a low or empty fuel tank, dirty or wrong fuel, a clogged fuel filter, leaks in fuel or air hoses, a faulty ignition transformer or control board, a dirty or fouled spark plug, or a clogged fuel nozzle. Fill the tank with fresh kerosene fuel. If the fuel is dirty, remove it and replace it with clean kerosene fuel. Clean or replace the fuel filter. Check the hoses and replace them with original parts if necessary. Consider replacing the ignition transformer or control board. Check, clean, or replace the spark electrode. Clean the nozzle by blowing compressed air through the front; replace it if necessary.

What to do if Munters Heater stops during operation?
    • S
      Scott WhiteNov 10, 2025
If your Munters Heater stops during operation, it could be due to several reasons. It might be that the desired room temperature has been reached, and the heater is in STAND-BY MODE, which is normal. To restart, simply turn the thermostat knob clockwise to a higher setting. Other potential causes include a loss of power supply, a blown fuse (in which case, replace the fuse after turning the On/Off switch to O and then to I), or an incorrect fuel/air mixture. If the fuel/air mixture is too rich (too much fuel or not enough air) or too lean (too much air or not enough fuel), ensure a correct mixture, check for blockage of the air inlet, a dirty or damaged fan, or bad fuel; remove obstructions, and clean parts, using the correct fuel or clean kerosene and ensuring correct compressor pressure....
