VERIFICACIÓN DE LA TENSIÓN DE
LAS CORREAS
La tensión de la correa es correcta
quando apretada por el pulgar, se
desplaza 8mm en A .
Si no se consigue obtener este valor,
soltar el tornillo del tensor del
alternador B o de la polea tensora y
efecutar el ajuste.
Para correas nuevas, hacer funcionar
el motor por 10 a 15 minutos y tensarla
de nuevo.
Una correa floja o estirada demás se
desgasta antes.
BELT TENSION CHECK
The belt tension is correct when it can
be deflected by the thumb 8 mm (.31”)
at point A .
If the displacement is different, loosen
the screw at the alternator adjuster B or
of the tensioner pulley, and adjust.
Operate the engine with new belts for
10 to 15 minutes and then re-tension.
A loose or excessively tensioned belt is
subject to rapid wear.
