SECURITY SYSTEM
The juicer incorporates a safety system that prevents operation of the same
while the top cover is not fitted on the lower bracket and the shutter is not
properly locked in the top cover.
BEFORE USING FOR THE FIRST TIME
• Carefully read all sections of this manual.
• Remove the juicer (as described below) and wash with warm water and
soap container for pulp, the pusher, the top cover, the bottom bracket, the
pitcher for juice and filter centrifuge (extreme precautions to wash this
piece). Do not use metal scouring pads or abrasive cleaning liquids. Then
carefully dry all parts and reassemble in the juicer.
DISASSEMBLE AND ASSEMBLING THE JUICER
To disassemble the juicer, follow these steps:
1. Remove the pushing bar.
2. Press the top lid filler slightly.
3. Gently pull the metal handle close to the outside.
4. Remove the top cover.
5. Hold the filter spin on the top edge and pull it upward. Note that the spin
filter is subject to the motor shaft through three areas of pressure, so you
will need to use some force to remove it.
6. Remove the lower bracket with outlet for pouring juice.
7. Remove the pulp container.
To assemble the juicer, follow these steps:
1. Place in position the pulp container.
2. Insert the bottom bracket housing.
3. Place the spin filter in place by pressing down until you hear a "click" which
will indicate that it is retained. Gently pull the filter to ensure it is properly
retained.
4. Place the top cover so that it snaps into the bottom bracket and the pulp
container.
5. Making light pressure on the top cover replace the shutter so that this snaps
between the two upper tabs on the cover.
Note:
If the shutter is not properly seated on the upper cover, the security system
prevents motor operation.
6. Place the pushing bar in its housing.
