Replacing the M.2 Hard Drive
Complete the following steps to replace the M.2 hard drive:
1.
Power o the chassis.
2.
Remove the PXIe-8822/42/62 controller from the chassis.
3.
Remove the M.2 heat spreader screws using a #1 Phillips screwdriver, as
shown in the following figure.
4.
Remove the M.2 heat spreader.
5. Remove the M.2 hard drive screw using a #1 Phillips screwdriver.
6.
Unseat and remove the M.2 hard drive from the connector.
7.
Insert the new M.2 hard drive and press it into the connector.
8. Replace the M.2 hard drive screw and tighten to 6.7 lb · in.
9. Replace the M.2 heat spreader.
10. Replace the M.2 heat spreader screws and tighten to 6.7 lb · in.
