Workaround:
Assert a secondary bus reset or link disable from the upstream port of the module
itself instead of asserting from the CPU root complex.
Streaming Performance is Poor in x4 Mode
When There Are Many Memory Read Requests
to the CPU
Issue:
The streaming performance may drop by about 50% if the link is operated at x4 or
lower link width and there are many memory read requests to the CPU. The issue is
due to CPU limitations on bifurcated PCI Express links.
Known impacted chassis:
All chassis that work in x4 or lower link width.
Workaround:
Use x8 links chassis for maximum streaming performance.
Compatibility Issues with eGPUs
Issue:
The controller may fail to boot or cannot enumerate the monitor connected when
connected to an eGPU. The issue happens because the PXIe-8822/42/62 supports
only UEFI graphics cards that support IOMMU. There is no support for legacy
graphics cards.
