This stitch is used to finish the seam allowance on
synthetics and other fabrics that tend to pucker.
Place your fabric to allow a 1.6 cm (5/8˝) seam.
Trim the seam allowance after sewing.
It is also handy for darning and mending tears.
Knit Stitch

e Thread tension: 1 - 4
r Stitch length: S.S.
t Stitch width: 5
This stitch is ideal for 1/4˝ (0.6 cm) seams on knits or on
medium to heavy weight woven fabrics where you want
a narrow seam. It is also great for sewing spandex swim
wear. Place the fabric to leave a 5/8˝ (1.6 cm) allowance.
Trim the extra allowance after sewing.
