The Neff B47CR32.0 is a versatile built-in oven offering a range of heating types and functions for various cooking needs. It features a main menu accessible via a touch button, allowing users to select desired heating types, temperatures, and other settings.

Available Heating Types:

  • CircoTherm (40-200 °C): Ideal for baking and cooking on one or more levels, distributing heat evenly with a fan from the back wall.
  • Top/bottom heating (50-275 °C): For traditional baking and roasting on one level, suitable for moist cakes, with even heat from above and below.
  • Circo-roasting (50-250 °C): For roasting poultry, whole fish, and larger meat pieces, using alternating grill element and fan for hot air circulation.
  • Pizza setting (50-275 °C): Specifically for pizza and dishes requiring strong bottom heat, utilizing both bottom and ring-shaped heating elements.
  • Bread baking setting (180-240 °C): For baking bread, bread rolls, and high-temperature baked goods.
  • Grill, large area (50-290 °C): For grilling flat items (steaks, sausages, toast) and browning food, heating the entire area under the grill element.
  • Grill, small area (50-290 °C): For grilling smaller amounts of flat items, heating the central area under the grill element.
  • Bottom heating (50-250 °C): For cooking in a bain-marie and for extended baking, with heat emitted from below.
  • Slow cooking (70-120 °C): For gentle and slow cooking of seared, tender meat in uncovered ovenware, using low, even heat from above and below.
  • Dough proving (35-55 °C): For proofing yeast dough, sourdough, and culturing yogurt, accelerating the process without drying out the dough surface.
  • Top/bottom heating eco (50-275 °C): An energy-efficient mode for selected food types, with heat from above and below. Most effective between 150-250 °C. Used for conventional energy consumption measurement.
  • CircoTherm eco (40-200 °C): An energy-efficient mode for selected food types on one level without preheating, distributing heat from the back wall. Most effective between 125-200 °C. Used for air recirculation energy consumption and energy-efficiency class measurement.
  • Sabbath mode (85-140 °C): Allows setting a cooking time of up to 74 hours, keeping food warm without requiring manual switching on/off. Uses top/bottom heating.

Cooking Compartment Functions:

  • Interior lighting: Switches on when the door is opened or operation starts, switches off after 15 minutes if the door remains open or when the program is complete. Can be configured in basic settings.
  • Cooling fan: Activates as needed to cool the appliance, continuing for a period after operation to cool the cooking compartment. Ventilation slots should not be covered.

Time-setting Options:

  • Timer: Functions like an egg timer, does not automatically switch the appliance on/off.
  • Cooking time: Switches the appliance off automatically after the set time.
  • Ready at (Start delay): Switches the appliance on automatically at a preset time and off after the set cooking time.

Quick Heating Functions:

  • Rapid heat-up: Reduces preheat time for Top/bottom heating.
  • PowerBoost: Reduces preheat time for CircoTherm hot air and Bread-baking setting, allowing food to be placed in the cold cooking compartment before preheating.

Important Technical Specifications

  • Maximum operating height: 2000 metres above sea level.
  • Halogen lamp: Heat-resistant, 40 watt, 230 V.
  • Energy efficiency: The appliance is designed to be energy-efficient, with tips provided for saving energy, such as preheating only when specified, defrosting frozen food, using dark-coloured baking tins, and utilizing residual heat.
  • Childproof lock: Two types: automatic (locks control panel after operation) and one-time (locks control panel until deactivated).
  • Display brightness: Adjustable across 5 levels.
  • Clock display: Digital.
  • Night-time dimming: Display can be dimmed between 10 p.m. and 5.59 a.m.
  • Button tone: Can be switched off (except for the touch button).

Usage Features

  • Multi-level cooking: CircoTherm allows baking on multiple levels simultaneously, potentially saving energy.
  • Cookware: Recommendations for dark-coloured metal baking tins, glass cookware, and specific roasting dishes for optimal results.
  • Greaseproof paper: Advised to be suitable for the selected temperature and cut to size.
  • Frozen products: Guidance on preparing frozen food, including removing frost and potential uneven pre-baking.

Maintenance Features

  • Cleaning functions:
    • EcoClean: Self-cleaning function for the porous, matte ceramic surfaces (back, ceiling, and side panels) of the cooking compartment. Absorbs and breaks down splashes during operation. The appliance may recommend cleaning when needed.
    • Base clean: Facilitates cleaning of the enamelled cooking compartment floor by vaporizing soapy water to loosen dirt.
