5. Slide the red lock (a) on the brewing unit
completely forward:

6. Press the red button (b), grasp the brew-
ing unit (c) by the recessed grips and
remove carefully.

7. Rinse the brewing unit thoroughly under
running water.
8. Hold the brewing unit sieve under the
running water.
9. Wipe out the inside of the appliance
thoroughly with a damp cloth and remove
any coffee residues.
10. Allow the brewing unit and the inside of
the appliance to dry.
11. Reinsert the brewing unit (c) fully into the
appliance.
12. Slide the red lock (a) back fully and close
the door (14).
