What to do if steam is leaking from under the cover of my Nesco Electric Pressure Cooker?

If steam leaks from under the cover of your Nesco Electric Pressure Cooker, immediately press the STOP button. Release the pressure in short bursts by turning the pressure regulator knob to STEAM. Remove the cover and gasket to inspect for damage. Ensure the gasket is properly positioned and that the cooking pot is not filled beyond 60% capacity. If the issue persists, contact customer service.
