- This product is designed for household use only -
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should
always be followed, including the following:
1. READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS.
2. Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
3. Always turn control knob to o before plugging appliance cord into wall outlet.
To disconnect, turn control knob to o, then remove plug from wall outlet.
4. To protect against electrical shock and personal injury, do not immerse this appliance,
including cord and plug, in water or other liquid.
5. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
6. Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool completely
before putting on or taking o parts, and before cleaning.
7. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance
malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner. Contact NESCO

8. Do not use outdoors.
9. Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces. Never pull
on cord.
10. Do not place on or near a hot gas or electrical burner or in a heated oven.
11. Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance containing hot oil or
hot liquids.
12. DO NOT place it on carpet, furniture, or other combustible materials.
13. Do not switch on the cooker if the ceramic cook pot is empty.
14 Allow the glass lid and ceramic cook pot to cool before allowing it to touch water or any
cool surface.
15. Always use the ceramic cook pot included with your appliance. Never cook directly in
the base of the unit.
16. Do not use the ceramic cook pot if it is cracked or chipped.
17. Certain countertop and table surfaces are not designed to withstand the prolonged
heat generated by certain appliances. Use a hot pad under your appliance
to prevent possible damage to the surface.
18. This appliance is not intented for use by persons with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge unless they have supervision
or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
19. Do not touch the power plug with wet hands. Do not operate the appliance with wet
hands or while standing on a wet floor.

Polarized Plug: This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than
the other). To reduce risk of electric shock, plug is intended to fit into polarized outlet
only one way. If the plug does not fit fully into the outlet, reverse the
plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not try to modify
the plug in any way.
Short Cord Instructions: A short power supply cord is provided to reduce the risk
resulting from becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord.
