Why is my NETSPA Swimming Pool Cleaner not picking up debris?
    • M
      Monique DavisJul 28, 2025
If your NETSPA Swimming Pool Cleaner isn't picking up debris, it might be due to a few reasons. First, check the battery level and recharge it if necessary. A fully charged alkaline AA battery can run for 70-80 minutes, while a NI-MH AA battery lasts 45-60 minutes. Another cause may be that the impeller is jammed. Power off the cleaner and check the gap in the middle of the cleaner to see if the impeller is jammed. If the impeller jammed, see behind “how to clear the dirt on the impeller”. Finally, the filter bag might be full; detach the filter basket and filter bag, and clean them. If the impeller is broken, contact your dealer for a replacement.

If garbage is flowing out from the transparent suction head part of your NETSPA Swimming Pool Cleaner, it's likely that the soft rubber of the rear impeller is broken. The soft rubber of rear impeller is like a door in case the garbage in the filter bag will flow backwards into impeller and the cover of transparent suction head part.

If your NETSPA Swimming Pool Cleaner cannot be recharged, the battery might be dead, so contact your dealer for a battery replacement. WARNING! When you replace NI-MH battery, please contact the local dealers to purchase the original NI-MH battery in case that the electric cleaner is destroyed. Alternatively, the charger could be faulty; contact your dealer for a proper transformer. WARNING! Using wrong charger will result in damaging the cleaner /battery and void the warranty.
