Hydraulicsystems

Aliquidleakingfromatinyholemaybealmostinvisiblebut,atthesametime,bepowerfulenoughtopenetrate
theskin.Therefore,NEVERUSEHANDSTOCHECKFORLEAKSbutuseapieceofcardboardorwoodforthis
purpose.Ifanyliquidpenetratesskintissue,callformedicalaidimmediately.Failuretotreatthisconditionwith
correctmedicalproceduremayresultinseriousinfectionordermatosis.

Inordertocheckthepressureinthesystemusesuitableinstruments.
WheelsandTyres
•
Makesurethatthetyresarecorrectlyinatedatthepressurespeciedbythemanufacturer.Periodicallycheck
therimsandtyresfordamage.
•
Standawayfrom(atthesideof)thetyrewhencheckinginationpressure.
•
Donotusepartsofrecoveredwheelsasincorrectweldingbrazingorheatingmayweakenandeventuallycause
damagetothewheel.
•
Nevercutorweldarimmountedwithaninatedtyre.
•
Toremovethewheels,lockallwheels.Afterhavingraisedthemachine,positionsupportsunderneath,according
toregulationsinforce.
•
Deatethetyrebeforeremovinganyobjectsthatmaybejammedinthetyretread.
•
Neverinatetyresusinginammablegases,asthismayresultinexplosionsandinjurytobystanders.
RemovalandRe-tting
•
Liftandhandleallheavypartsusingsuitablehoistingequipment.Makesurethatpartsaresustainedbyappropri-
atehooksandslings.Usethehoistingeyeboltsforliftingoperations.Extracareshouldbetakenifpersonsare
presentneartheloadtobelifted.
•
Handleallpartscarefully.Donotputyourhandsorngersbetweenparts.Wearsuitablesafetyclothing-safety
goggles,glovesandshoes.
•
Avoidtwistingchainsormetalcables.Alwayswearsafetygloveswhenhandlingcablesorchains.
