How to fix Nexgrill 720-0888S Grill that will not light immediately?
    • U
      uhernandezAug 3, 2025
If your Nexgrill Grill doesn't light immediately, ensure you see a spark while lighting the burner. Verify the battery is correctly installed and the wire is connected to the electrode assembly. Clean the wire(s) and/or electrode with rubbing alcohol and a clean swab, then wipe with a clean cloth. Check if other burners operate; if so, inspect the gas orifice on the malfunctioning burner for any obstructions.

What to do if my Nexgrill 720-0888S Grill only heats to 200-300°F?
    • E
      Eric ArnoldAug 8, 2025
If your Nexgrill Grill is only heating to 200-300°F, check if the fuel hose is bent or kinked. Ensure the grill area is free of dust and that the burner and orifices are clean. Also, inspect for any spiders or insects. The regulator might have a safety device restricting gas flow, even without a leak. To reset it, turn off all burners and close the LP tank valve. Disconnect the regulator from the LP tank, wait one minute, then reconnect and slowly open the LP tank valve fully. Light all burners and monitor the temperature.

Why does my Nexgrill 720-0888S take so long to preheat?
    • Z
      zthomasAug 14, 2025
A normal preheat for your Nexgrill Grill to reach 500-600°F takes about 10-15 minutes. Cold weather and wind may affect your preheat time. If you are using volcanic rock or briquettes, they can increase the preheat time and maximum temperature.

What to do if the full size cover does not fit my Nexgrill 720-0888S Grill?
    • D
      Darren AndersonAug 18, 2025
If the full-size cover doesn't fit your Nexgrill Grill, the cover may be incorrect for your grill or it may be a tight fit. Ensure the cover is the correct length for your grill by measuring it from left to right and comparing it to the grill's measurement. Compare the location and size of the hood portion of the cover to your grill. Spread the cover and allow it to relax, preferably in warm sunlight or in a warm room. For grills with a side shelf, bunch the cover like a sock and put it on from left to right.

Why does my Nexgrill 720-0888S Grill regulator make noise?
    • P
      Phillip DanielsAug 25, 2025
If the regulator on your Nexgrill Grill is making noise, the vent hose on the regulator may be plugged, or the regulator itself might be faulty. Make sure the vent hole on the regulator is not obstructed. Clear the hole, then close the gas control valves, wait ten minutes, and restart. Check your flames for proper performance. If the flames are still not correct, consider replacing the regulator.

    Christopher EdwardsAug 29, 2025
Why are the burner flames on my Nexgrill 720-0888S Grill not light blue?
    • W
      wilsonvanessaAug 29, 2025
If the burner flames on your Nexgrill Grill are not light blue, it indicates there's either too much or not enough air for the flame. Elevation is a principal cause, though cold weather can also affect the mixture. Burner adjustment may be required, or the grill may be in a windy location.
