For the Installation engineer
FLM 30
If the operating disturbance cannot be rectified by means of the above an installation
engineer should be called.
Cause: Filter (63) clogged.
Action: Clean or replace the filter, see the section
“Maintenance procedures” - “Cleaning the
air filter”.
Cause: Closed or too hard throttled exhaust air de-
vice.
Action: Check and measure the air flow.
Cause: Circuit or main MCB tripped.
Action: Reset or replace the MCB.
Cause: Fan clogged.
Action: Check the fan, clean if necessary. See the
section “Maintenance routines” - “Cleaning
the fan”.
Cause: The battery blocked by frost.
Action: Switch off the circulation pump using
switch (38). Let it remain switched off for 24
hours.
Low or a lack of ventilation
In the event of malfunction or operating disturbances first
check the points below:

■ Open the front cover by pulling it out by the lower
edge, then lifting it up.
■ Set the switch (8) to “0”.
■ Dismantle the inner cover by loosening the 6 cov-
er screws.
■ Loosen the venting screw with a screwdriver. Hold
a cloth around the screwdriver blade as a certain
amount of fluid may run out.
■ Insert a screwdriver and turn the pump rotor.
■ Screw in the venting screw.
■ Start FLM 30 and check whether the circulation
pump runs.
It is usually easier to start the circulation pump with
FLM 30 running, switch (8) set to “1”. If helping the cir-
culation pump to start is performed with FLM 30 run-
ning, be prepared for the screwdriver to jerk when the
pump starts.
