Rotate the mode
dial to SET UP.

Press
and hold the MENU button while turning the camera on.

"E3100 V *.*" will be displayed in the
monitor, followed by the version
number of the current camera firmware.
If the monitor shows "E3100 V1.2," the
current camera firmware is version 1.2.
This upgrade can be used with firmware
versions 1.2 or earlier.

Turn the camera off.
