Taking Pictures for a Panorama ([] 39)
The camera focuses on the subject in the center of the frame. Use a tripod
for best results.
1 Press the multi selector or to [
choose [1:=1 Panorama assist] in the scene Jl _pa_ma:_a_ I I

2 Press •, •, _, or to select the
desired pan direction and press @).
The arrow showing the selected direction turns
white.
Before the first picture is taken, the flash mode
(PII_24), self-timer (PI_ 26), and macro close-up
(PII_27) settings can be adjusted.
The direction can be re-selected by pressing 0 again.
3 Take the first picture.
The first picture is displayed in the first
m
third of the monitor.

4 Take the second picture.
Compose the next picture so that it over-
laps the first picture.
Repeat until you have taken the necessary
number of pictures to complete the scene. :
