and durable camera, bear

that

cal instrument,
and
that care-
less

may
damage it. Observe the

and
the
FM2

Generally, t

camera does not
need lubrication.

reflex mirror or
the
focusing screen
to
prevent
them from getting scratch
ed
.
Remove dust with a blower·type
brush.
If
the
camera body
is
exposed
to
rain or mist, wipe
mOistu
re
gently with a soft cloth a
nd

ry
t
he
camera. After
usi
ng t
he

r salt water, t
ake
care t
ha
t
you
wipe
it
with a
cloth moistened with pure
water
to
remove possib
le
traces
of
salt.
Do

Clean glass

rfaces such
as
the

ns or
the
fin
d
er
eyepiece
with a blower-type brush ; avoid

ng lens tissue
as
much
as
possible. Gently wipe dirt,
smudges
or
fingerprints with
soft cotton moistened
With
a
small amount
of
absolute
al-
cohol, using a spiral motion
from center
to
periphery. M
ake
sure
you
leave
no
wiping traces.
When
not
uSing
the
camera
for
a long time,
take
ou
t
the
bat-
teries
and
store
the
camera
away from
high
temperatur
e,
high
humidity, naphtha
line,
or
camphor,
