PPPOE/PPPOA
PPPoA/PPPoE is an ADSL connection known as dial-up DSL. PPPoA/PPPoE has been created to integrate large band
services paying particular attention to an easy configuration. The user can obtain a high access speed and he can also share
the same account with the ISP. Let’s see how to configure this kind of ADSL configuration correctly.
Insert Username and Password and make sure that, in case of PPPoE the parameters are the ones in the left picture,
if not specifically shown by the ISP (VPI=8, VCI=35, Encapsulation=LLC, Connection Mode=PPPoE, Enable
NAPT=Enable).
Insert Username and Password and make sure that, in case of PPPoA, the parameters are the ones in the right
picture, if not specifically shown by the ISP (VPI=8, VCI=35, Encapsulation=VC-Mux, Connection Mode=PPPoA,
Enable NAPT=Enable).
Click on Add, then Save.
The Setup Wireless wizard is now completed. After some minutes the Internet LED will be on and green.
