Maintenance Features

General Cautions:

  • Handling: Keep the camera safe from falling and dropping. Avoid placing heavy objects on it.
  • Interference: Keep the camera away from strong magnetic interference objects (like electrical machines) to prevent damage from radio waves affecting sound or image quality.
  • Water Exposure: Unless equipped with a waterproof case, keep the camera away from water and liquids to prevent malfunction.
  • Temperature: Do not directly expose the product to temperatures above 55°C.
  • Storage: Store the device in a cool, dry, and dust-free place.
  • Tampering: Do not attempt to open the camera case or modify it. Doing so will void the warranty.

Waterproof Shell Tips:

  • Lens Film: Before use, tear off the lens protection film from the waterproof shell for clear video/photos.
  • Sealing: Ensure the waterproof shell is well-sealed before use to maintain waterproof performance. If the white silicone ring does not seal properly, discontinue use.
  • Drying: Dry the waterproof shell immediately after use to prevent dust accumulation on metal buttons, which can reduce performance.
  • Replacement: The waterproof shell is a vulnerable product. It is recommended to replace it periodically based on environmental conditions and frequency of use.
  • Anti-fogging: When using the camera with the waterproof shell in low temperatures (winter, rain, underwater), use anti-fogging treatment to avoid blurred video.

Battery Management:

  • Charging: Connect the camera to a computer or USB power supply using the included USB cable. The charging status light will be ON during charging and turn OFF when fully charged.
  • Battery Specifications: The camera includes two 3.7V 900 mAh batteries. Charging time is approximately 3.5 hours.
  • Charging Precautions: Ensure the camera is shut down while charging. Only use a 5V 1A output charger.
  • Dash Camera Use: Remove the battery before using the camera as a dash camera.
  • Storage Temperature: Do not store batteries at temperatures above 140°F/60°C.
  • Safety: Do not disassemble, crush, damage, or dispose of batteries in fire. Do not use swelling batteries. Stop using batteries after immersion in water.
  • Disposal: Do not dispose of the camera or its battery in general rubbish. Find a specific recycling point for proper disposal.

Storage/Micro Cards:

  • Compatibility: The camera supports 8GB, 16GB, 32GB, and selected 64GB micro SD, micro SDHC, and micro SDXC memory cards.
  • Speed Rating: A CLASS 10 (80M/S) speed rating micro SD card is required.
  • Reliability: Brand-name memory cards are recommended for maximum reliability, especially in high vibration activities.
  • Formatting: Always format the micro SD, micro SDHC, and micro SDXC memory card in the camera before use. Restart the camera after formatting.

Environmental Instructions:

  • Disposal: The crossed bin symbol indicates that the product should not be disposed of with normal household waste. Electrical and electronic products should be collected separately for correct treatment to prevent harmful substances from affecting the environment and human health.
