COFFEE BREWING TIPS
Is it hot in here? Or is it just the cup you’re using?
Coffeehouses traditionally serve their coffee in paper cups. And it’s not just because they’re
inexpensive and easy to discard. The type of cup you brew into can drastically influence the
temperature of your coffee. Take a look.
When you just can’t wait for that first cup to be ready, don’t.
Simply close the Drip Stop to pause the brew cycle and pour your cup. Then re-open the
Drip Stop to continue the brew. If you forget to re-open the Drip Stop, your Ninja Coffee Bar
TM
will give you a friendly audible reminder.
Want the perfect iced coffee?
Be sure to fill your cup, travel mug, or carafe with ice before brewing. Allowing the hot
coffee to brew directly over the ice ensures you get a smooth, rich, refreshing taste every time.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: Do not use glassware.

What to do if my Ninja CF080A Coffee Maker cup overflows?
    • J
      Julie Murphy DVMAug 19, 2025
If your cup, travel mug, or carafe overflowed while using the Ninja Coffee Maker, it might be because they weren't empty before brewing or the water exceeded the max fill line in the reservoir. Ensure you're using at least a 12 oz cup for the 'cup' size and a 16 oz travel mug for the 'travel mug' size.

    Catherine RodriguezAug 21, 2025
How to make Ninja CF080A coffee hotter?
    • N
      Nathan GrantAug 21, 2025
To keep your coffee hotter for a longer time when using your Ninja Coffee Maker, preheat your mug or carafe by rinsing it with hot tap water. If using a microwave-safe mug with cream or milk, preheat the cream or milk in the microwave for about 30 seconds.
  • P
    Peter RobinsonAug 23, 2025
Why are there grounds in my Ninja CF080A coffee?
    • L
      Laura BatesAug 23, 2025
For best results with your Ninja Coffee Maker, use medium ground coffee in the recommended measurements. Too many grounds in the brew basket, or using a fine ground coffee, will cause the grounds to flow into an overflow channel designed to make sure overflow is captured in the brew vessel.
  • M
    Michael MorrisAug 26, 2025
Why is my Ninja Coffee Maker leaking?
    • J
      Jane WilliamsAug 26, 2025
If the leak is coming from the brew basket, be sure all the parts are fit securely in the brewer. If the leak is coming from the bottom of the brewer call customer service at 1-877-646-5288.

    Karen YoungAug 29, 2025
Why won't my Ninja CF080A start brewing?
    • D
      Daniel IrwinAug 30, 2025
If your Ninja Coffee Maker brew won't start, ensure the brewer is plugged in and there's water in the reservoir. Also, if the drip stop is open, make sure the brew basket is fully pushed into the brewer.
  • T
    tshafferAug 31, 2025
Why does my Ninja CF080A Coffee Maker beep and not finish brewing?
    • R
      Robert CummingsSep 1, 2025
