How to prevent sediment in Ninja CF090A CF4 Coffee Maker coffee?
    • G
      greenrebeccaSep 8, 2025
If using a permanent filter, the sediment at the bottom of the brewed coffee may be due to using finely ground coffee. To reduce the amount of sediment in the brewed coffee, use a slightly coarser grind or use a paper filter.

How to stop Ninja CF090A CF4 Coffee Maker paper filter from folding?
    • K
      Kevin SmithSep 12, 2025
The Ninja Coffee Bar System is designed to take a #4 cone filter. Be sure you are using this size and shape, as larger sizes may fold over. Fold those edges along their creases (one along the bottom and one along the side) before inserting into the brew basket. Alternatively, you can wet the sides of the paper filter to temporarily adhere it to the brew basket. When using a paper filter, do not use the permanent filter. If problem persists, try using a permanent filter. If not, allow the brew basket to cool before handling.

    • R
      Richard HarrisSep 12, 2025
The bottom opening is clogged. This can happen with finely ground coffee or too many coffee grounds in the brew basket.

Why is my second cup hotter from Ninja Coffee Maker?
    • K
      Kenneth BrownSep 14, 2025
Once the Ninja Coffee Bar System has brewed the first cup, the brewing system is pre-warmed. For a hot first cup, try pre-warming your mug. Or after plugging in and turning on your brewer by pressing the Power button, allow 3 minutes for your brewer to preheat.

What to do if Ninja CF090A CF4 Coffee Maker brew basket drips after brewing?
    • C
      Christopher MontgomerySep 16, 2025
Once the brew cycle is complete, move the drip stop to the closed position, denoted by a water droplet with a slash through it, before removing your brewing vessel.
