1 This appliance can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience
and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and
understand the hazards involved.
2 Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children. DO NOT allow the appliance to be used by children. Close
supervision is necessary when used near children.
3 Children should not play with the appliance.
4 DO NOT place or store anything on top of product when in use.
5 To prevent fire, DO NOT place appliance on or near a gas or electric hob, or in a heated oven.
6 NEVER use electrical socket below counter.

The device is the Ninja DoubleStack™ XL 2-Basket Air Fryer (Model SL401), designed for indoor household use. It is a versatile kitchen appliance that utilizes DoubleStack™ Technology, allowing users to cook up to four different foods simultaneously across two independent cooking zones.

Function Description

The Ninja DoubleStack™ XL 2-Basket Air Fryer offers multiple cooking functions to cater to various culinary needs:

• AIR FRY: This function is used to achieve crispiness and crunch in food with minimal to no oil, making it ideal for healthier frying.
• AIR BROIL: Designed to add a crispy finishing touch to meals or to melt toppings. The temperature for Air Broil is preset to 450°F and is not adjustable.
• BAKE: Allows for the creation of baked treats and desserts. The default temperature for Bake is 325°F.
• ROAST: Functions as an oven for preparing tender meats and other dishes. The default temperature for Roast is 250°F.
• REHEAT: Revives leftovers by gently warming them to restore crispy results. The default temperature for Reheat is 250°F.
• DEHYDRATE: Used to dehydrate meats, fruits, and vegetables for healthy snacks. The default temperature for Dehydrate is 140°F.

The device features a Power button to turn the unit on/off and stop all cooking functions. • START/PAUSE button: Used to select the desired function, start cooking, and pause/resume cooking in either single or both zones.

The unit also has a HOLD Mode (displayed during SMART FINISH when one zone is waiting for the other to finish) and a STANDBY Mode (activated after 10 minutes of inactivity on the control panel).

• Single Zone Cooking: To cook in a single zone, users insert a crisper plate, place ingredients in a basket, insert the basket into the unit, select the desired zone (Zone 1 or 2), choose a function, set temperature and time, then press START/PAUSE. The unit will beep and display "COOL" for 60 seconds upon completion.
• Double Zone Cooking (SMART FINISH): For synchronized cooking of different foods, users set individual functions, temperatures, and times for Zone 1 and Zone 2, then press SMART FINISH followed by START/PAUSE. The unit manages the cooking times to ensure both zones finish together.
• Double Zone Cooking (MATCH COOK): To cook the same food in both zones, users set Zone 1's settings, then press MATCH COOK to copy them to Zone 2, followed by START/PAUSE.
• Pausing/Ending Cooking: Cooking can be paused by pressing START/PAUSE. To end cooking in a single zone while both are active, select the zone, press TIME, and turn the dial to zero; "END" will appear, and cooking will continue in the other zone.
• Food Placement: Ingredients should be arranged in an even layer in the basket without overlapping for consistent browning. Stacked Meal Racks can be used to cook two layers of food in one basket.
• Temperature Conversion: For traditional oven recipes, it is recommended to reduce the temperature by 25°F when using the air fryer.
• Lightweight Foods: To prevent lightweight foods from blowing around due to the fan, they can be secured with wooden toothpicks.
• Wet, Battered Ingredients: For air frying wet, battered foods, a proper breading technique (flour, egg, then breadcrumbs pressed firmly) is recommended to prevent crumbs from blowing off.

Maintenance Features

Proper cleaning and maintenance are essential for the longevity and safe operation of the appliance:

• Main Unit: The main unit and control panel should be wiped clean with a damp cloth after each use. It should NEVER be immersed in water or any other liquid, nor cleaned in a dishwasher.
• Accessories: The baskets, crisper plates, and stacked meal racks are dishwasher-safe. For extended life, hand-washing is recommended. After washing, all parts should be air-dried or towel-dried.
• Food Residue: If food residue is stuck, accessories can be soaked in warm, soapy water before washing.
