The Ninja Professional Blender 1000 (model CO610B) is a high-powered kitchen appliance designed for a variety of food preparation tasks, including ice crushing, blending, pureeing, and controlled processing. It aims to help users create their favorite recipes quickly and easily with simple button controls.
The blender operates with a motor base that powers a Stacked Blade Assembly within a pitcher. It offers multiple speed settings and a pulse function to accommodate different blending needs. The "LOW" setting is suitable for processing and mixing, such as thin batters, gravies, marinades, beating eggs, pureeing cooked foods and uncooked fruits, and chopping vegetables for dips and salsa. For blending and ice crushing, the "MEDIUM" setting is recommended, which can be used to grate hard cheeses, chop and grind nuts, mix dips, cream soups, blend sauces, spreads, mixed drinks, smoothies, and milkshakes. The "HIGH" setting is designed for pureeing and liquefying, ideal for mixing smoothies, frappes, and liquefying thick mixtures and whole fruits and vegetables. The "PULSE" button provides controlled chopping and processing, allowing users to achieve desired consistencies by pressing down in short intervals. The appliance is designed for indoor household use only and is not intended for commercial purposes.
Before first use, all packaging materials and labels should be removed, and all parts separated. The lid, pitcher, and Stacked Blade Assembly must be washed in warm, soapy water. When handling the blade assembly, it's crucial to use a dishwashing utensil with a handle to avoid direct hand contact with the sharp blades. After washing, rinse and air-dry thoroughly. The motor base should be wiped clean with a damp cloth.
To assemble, the motor base is placed on a clean, dry, level surface. The Stacked Blade Assembly, held by the top of its shaft, is then placed onto the drive gear inside the pitcher, ensuring it is seated properly and standing upright. Ingredients are added to the pitcher, making sure not to exceed the highest measured marking line. For liquids, the "Max Liquid" mark (64 ounces) should not be exceeded. The lid is then placed on top of the pitcher, aligning the arrow on the lid with the arrow on the pitcher's handle, and pressed down until a click is heard, indicating it's locked. The pitcher can be positioned on the motor base with the handle on either the front right or front left corner. Once the pitcher and lid are correctly installed, the power button will illuminate solid, indicating the blender is ready for use.
During operation, if additional ingredients need to be added, the pour spout cap can be opened to pour them in. It's important not to open the pitcher's pour spout cap while the blender is running. If ingredients stick to the sides of the pitcher, the appliance should be stopped, the lid removed, and a spatula used to dislodge them. Hands should never be inserted into the pitcher while the appliance is running or when the blade assembly is attached.
After blending, the appliance is stopped by pressing the power button, and the Stacked Blade Assembly is allowed to stop turning completely before attempting to remove the lid or container. To remove the lid, the release button on the lid is pressed, and the lid handle is pulled up to a 90° angle before lifting it off. The pitcher is then turned counterclockwise and lifted off the base. For liquid contents, the pour spout can be used. For thicker consistencies, the lid and then the Stacked Blade Assembly should be removed first, handling the blade assembly carefully by the top of the shaft to avoid accidental contact, before emptying the pitcher.
Safety interlocks are built into the design; the motor will not operate if the pitcher and lid are not installed correctly. The appliance should never be operated without the lid on, nor should the interlock mechanism be defeated. It's crucial to ensure all utensils are removed from containers before operation to prevent damage or injury. Hot liquids should not be blended, as this can cause pressure buildup and steam exposure, posing a burn risk. The appliance should not be run empty.
All parts should be separated for cleaning. The pitcher, lid, and Stacked Blade Assembly are dishwasher safe, with the lid and Stacked Blade Assembly recommended for the top rack. When hand-washing the Stacked Blade Assembly, a dishwashing utensil with a handle should be used to avoid direct contact with the sharp blades. The motor base should be cleaned with a damp cloth and should never be submerged in water or other liquids, nor should any liquid be sprayed on it. Blades should not be sharpened.
For storage, the Ninja Professional 1000 should be kept upright with the Stacked Blade Assembly inside the pitcher and the lid secured on top. Nothing should be placed on top of the unit. The power cord can be loosely wrapped around the cord storage hook at the back of the unit.
In case of overheating, a thermal switch will temporarily disable the motor. To reset, the appliance must be unplugged and allowed to cool for approximately 30 minutes before being used again. If the unit shuts off during use, it should be unplugged, the pitcher emptied, and any jammed ingredients removed. After cooling for about 15 minutes, the pitcher can be placed back on the base, plugged in, and used again, ensuring maximum capacities are not exceeded.
Before each use, the blade assemblies should be inspected for damage. If a blade is bent or damaged, SharkNinja should be contacted for replacement. The appliance should not be operated with a damaged cord or plug, or if it has malfunctioned, been dropped, or damaged in any manner, as it contains no user-serviceable parts. Extension cords should not be used with this appliance.
