Usage Features:
- Ninja® Blade Technology: Ensures efficient and effective processing.
- BPA Free Containers: The 40 oz. Bowl, 48-oz Pitcher, and Single Serve Drink Cup are all BPA free.
- Pulse Power: Provides controlled blending, processing, juicing, and kneading through short pulses. Users press down on the top of the single serve drink cup or the handle of the lid to activate.
- Single Serve Blending: Allows users to blend directly in the single serve drink cup and then twist on a to-go lid for convenience.
- Dough Mixing: Facilitates the preparation of various doughs. When mixing pizza dough or any heavy mix, it's important to mix for up to 1 minute, then allow the appliance to rest for approximately 1 minute before mixing again to prevent overheating.
- Polarized Plug: The appliance features a polarized plug (one blade wider than the other) to reduce the risk of electric shock. It should fit into a polarized outlet only one way. If it doesn't fit, reverse the plug.
- Safety Interlocks: The appliance will not operate unless the container and lid are properly attached and locked in place.
- Overload Protection: If the appliance overheats due to overload, a thermal switch will activate and shut off the motor. To reset, unplug the appliance, let it cool for about 30 minutes, and then re-plug.
- Assembly: Attachments are not interchangeable. Always place the attachment in the container (40-oz. bowl or 48-oz. pitcher) before adding ingredients. For the single serve cup, the blade assembly screws onto the cup, which then locks onto the motor base. For the 40-oz. bowl and 48-oz. pitcher, the container locks onto the motor base, the blade assembly is placed inside, and then the lid locks onto the container.
- Operation: For best results, liquid ingredients should be added first, followed by dry ingredients. The "PULSE" function is activated by pressing down on the lid handle or the top of the single serve cup.
- Removal: To remove lids, pull the lid handle up to a 90° angle. Containers are removed by turning them clockwise and lifting them off the base.
Maintenance Features:
- Cleaning:
- Always unplug the motor base before cleaning or removing attachments.
- The motor base and gear shaft should be cleaned with a damp cloth and wiped dry. Do not immerse the motor base in water or any other liquid.
- The bowl, pitcher, and single serve cups are dishwasher safe.
- Lids and attachments should be placed on the top rack of the dishwasher.
- Caution: Blade assemblies are very sharp and should be handled with extreme care, always holding them by the shaft.
- Alternatively, containers can be cleaned by filling them with no more than 24 oz. of warm water and a drop of dishwashing detergent, then pulsing a few times with the corresponding lid. After cleaning, rinse thoroughly under running water and allow all parts to dry before storing.
- Storage:
- Store the appliance upright with the 40-oz bowl on the motor base, the 4-Blade assembly inside, and the lid on the bowl.
- Secure the power cord by wrapping it around the cord wrap underneath the base.
- Do not place anything on top of the stored appliance.
- Store single serve cups and other attachments alongside the appliance to prevent damage or hazards.
- Troubleshooting: A guide is provided for common issues such as the motor not starting, uneven chopping, overly processed food, inability to achieve snow from ice cubes, single serve cup leaking, or the unit not turning on or off. Solutions typically involve checking alignment, power connections, ingredient quantities, or allowing the unit to cool if overloaded.
