2.5.2 Wi-Fi Network
To connect to the Internet through an available Wi-Fi network, do the following:
1. Make sure the Nintendo Switch console
and one of the controllers is powered on.
2. From the Home Menu, select System
Settings.
3. Select Internet from the options on the
left.
4. Select Internet Settings on the right side.
The console will search for available Wi-Fi
networks.
5. Once the search completes, scroll down
through the list of networks and select
the name of your desired Wi-Fi network.
6. If prompted, use the onscreen keyboard
to enter your Wi-Fi network’s security key
(password) and select OK when finished.
• If you receive an error message,
then the security key you entered
was not valid. Try entering it
again.
• If you do not know the security
key, see your IT system
administrator.
7. The console will perform a connection
test.
• If the connection test fails,
consult the message on the
screen for the reason it may have
failed. Then, consult your IT
system administrator.
