Load the adjustment disc
(CA-1094).

S-curve wave
Press[PLAY]button.
Perform continuous
focus search.(Note 1)

terminal FE(JVO68)
and test
terminal VC (TP102 Pin3)
with oscilloscope.

Measure Focus Error
signal (S-curve) VFE
for 3 times, record
Vremax.
Is VFEmax
more than 1.58V?

Is PU lens
cleaned?
Yes
Clean the PU lens.
(Note 2)
Disc is rotated Appox,
90", measure VFeE for
10 times and record
Vremax.
Is VFEmax shown’
more than 1.58V?,
Trouble may exist in
focus error signal (S-curve)
abnormality. Execute PU
replacement.
Perform checking of
item 3.
Note 1: Press PLAY] button continuously in VFe measure.
Note 2: Clean the lens with-moistened cleaning paper without
applying an excessive force to the tens.
Note 3: When using the Test disc CO-76143 vaiue are 1.67V.
