Function Description

The TIP SE features a dual-switch design, consisting of a Power Button and a Mode Button, which allows for intuitive and easy operation. Usage Features

Operating the TIP SE is straightforward. To turn the light on or off, a short press of the Power Button is all that's needed. Once the light is on, short presses of the Mode Button cycle through the brightness levels: LOW, MID, and HIGH. For momentary access to specific modes, the TIP SE offers several options. When the light is off, pressing and holding the Power Button for over 2 seconds will momentarily activate LOW mode. Similarly, pressing and holding the Mode Button for over 2 seconds when the light is off will momentarily activate TURBO mode. If the light is already on, pressing and holding the Mode Button will momentarily access TURBO, returning to the previous brightness level upon release. For direct access to TURBO or LOW from an off state, a quick press and release (within approximately 0.6 seconds) of the Mode Button activates TURBO, while the same action with the Power Button activates LOW.

Switching between DEMO Mode and DAILY Mode is achieved by simultaneously long-pressing both the Power Button and the Mode Button when the light is on or off. The light will flash once to indicate DEMO Mode and twice to indicate DAILY Mode. This allows users to customize the light's behavior based on their specific needs. If the light automatically shuts down in DEMO Mode, reactivating it within 3 seconds will temporarily put it into DAILY Mode until it is turned off, providing a brief period of continuous light if needed.

The TIP SE is designed with practical features for everyday carry. It includes a multifunctional clip, allowing for secure attachment to pockets, belts, or other gear. The dual metallic key ring connector is robust, capable of withstanding up to 30kg (66lbs) of weight, ensuring the light stays securely attached to a keychain or other accessories.

Maintenance Features

The NITECORE TIP SE is built for durability and ease of maintenance. It features a HA III military-grade hard-anodized finish, which provides excellent resistance against scratches, wear, and corrosion, ensuring the light maintains its appearance and integrity over time. The device is also impact resistant to 1 meter, offering protection against accidental drops.

Power indicators located beneath the switches provide real-time feedback on the remaining battery power. When the light is off, a short press of the Mode Button will cause the indicators to flash: three times for over 50% power, twice for below 50%, and once for below 10%. This allows users to easily monitor the battery status and plan for recharging.

During the charging process, red indicators beneath the buttons illuminate steadily. Once the battery is fully charged, these indicators turn green, signaling that the device is ready for use. If the power is low, the red indicators will flash to alert the user. The charging time is approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, and the device boasts a standby time of approximately 12 months when fully charged, making it reliable even after periods of disuse.

To ensure optimal performance and longevity, it is recommended to charge the product before its first use and to recharge it every 3 months if left unused for an extended period. The product should be recharged when the output appears dim or unresponsive due to low power. Users are advised not to disassemble, modify, or reconstruct the product, as this will nullify the warranty and potentially damage the device.
