Open the packaging and carefully take the device out. Make sure that the kit is complete and its components
are undamaged. Check that plastic parts are not broken. If you nd that any components are missing
or damaged, contact the vendor and do not use the device. Retain the packaging or dispose of it in accordance
with local regulations.
Caution! To keep children safe, do not leave packaging parts (plastic bags, cardboard boxes,
expanded polystyrene elements etc.) freely accessible. Danger of suffocation!
Below elements should be found in the set:
8.1 Turning the device on / off
• To turn on the device, press and hold the MEAS measurement
button.
• The laser measuring device is turned off by pressing and holding
the CLEAR reset button and device power off switch (4).
• The laser rangender has an automatic switch-off function, after
2 minutes from the last use.
8.2 Battery replacement / installation
1. Turn off the device (see 8.1 Turning the device on / off)
2. Unscrew the bolt and open battery compartment (9)
3. Remove the used batteries (if any) and insert two new 1,5V AAA batteries, observing the correct
polarity (as shown).
4. Close the battery compartment cover (9) and tighten the screw.
Caution!
• The device is designed to be used with AAA 1,5 V batteries.
• The batteries are included in the set.
• When installing a new battery, observe the polarity markings in the battery compartment.
• Use the same type of batteries as recommended for this device: AAA 1.5 V
.
• Do not dispose of used batteries with municipal waste. Put them into special containers for spent
batteries.
