• Remove button head caps screws and lock washers from the top and
bottom of the knuckle.
• Remove king pin cap and gasket from knuckle.
• Gasket may separate. Clean knuckle and cap and use new gasket when
reassembling.
2. Disassembly Step 2
• Remove jam nut from set screw
• Remove set screw from axle beam
• bottom of knuckle
3. Disassembly Step 3
• Remove steering knuckle, thrust bearing and shim(s).
