Security settings
When security features that restrict calls are in use (such as call barring,
closed user group and fixed dialling) calls still may be possible to the official
emergency number programmed into your device.
Select Menu > Settings > Security settings and one of the following
options:
• PIN code request—To set your phone to ask for the PIN code of the SIM
card when the phone is switched on
Some SIM cards do not allow this function to be turned off.
• Call barring service (Network service)—To restrict the making and
receiving of calls with your phone
Select one of the barring options and set the option on (Activate) or off
(Cancel) or check whether a service is activated (Check status).
• Closed user group (Network service)—To specify a group of people whom
you can call and who can call you
• Security level—To control the use of your phone or the phone memory
Enter the security code; select Phone to set the phone to ask for the
security code when a new SIM card is inserted, or select Memory to set
the phone to ask for security code when a new SIM card is inserted and
you select the internal phone book, or select None to set the phone not to
ask for security code when a new SIM card is inserted or the internal
phonebook is selected.
