4. Select Recently used,
Call log, Contacts, or
Contact groups.
5. Select the desired contact.
6. Type your message and
select Send.
Read Message
Your phone noties you when you have a new
text message. To read, select Show.
To access messages in your Inbox:
1. From the main screen, select Menu.
2. Select Messaging > Inbox.
3. Scroll to the message and select Open to view.
Delete Message
To access messages in your Inbox:
1. From the main screen, select Menu.
2. Select Messaging > Inbox.
3. Scroll to the message and select Options.
4. Select Delete and then select Yes.
Text Messaging
Your phone supports four text modes:
n
Traditional mode: This mode allows you to type letters by pressing
the key until the correct letter displays. For example, to type the,
you press the 8 key once, the 4 key twice, and the 3 key twice.

Predictive mode: This mode allows you to type words with only one
keystroke per letter. The phone predicts the word you want.
For example, to type the, you press 8, 4, 3. Press 0 to select the and
insert a space.

Number mode: This mode allows you to type numbers.
n
Symbol mode: This mode allows you to type symbols.
Send Message
1. From the main screen, select Menu > Messaging.
2. Select Create message > Message.
3. At To, select Add. You can also type the phone
number if the contact is not in your phone book.
Separate charges may apply to send/receive domestic/
international text messages.
