3. The battery is fully charged when the battery indicator bar stops scrolling, and the text Battery full
is briefly displayed (if the phone is on).
If the text Not charging is displayed, charging has been suspended. Wait for a while, disconnect the
charger, plug it in again and retry. If charging still fails, contact your dealer.
■ Switching the phone on and off
Press and hold the power key.
If the phone asks for a PIN code:
The PIN code is usually supplied with the SIM card.
• Key in the PIN code (displayed as ****), and press OK.

If the phone asks for a security code:
• Key in the five-digit security code (displayed as *****), and press OK.
See also ’Access codes’ on page 122.
Warning! Do not switch on the phone when wireless phone use is prohibited or when it may
cause interference or danger.
