12. Advanced features
• Advanced dialing
Some numbers (such as voice mail) require a
pause or require a code at some point during
the dialing process. You can save any number
along with its specific pause or code for easy
dialing in the future.

At the Start screen, press Names.

Scroll to Add entry and press the roller.

Enter the name for the entry and press OK.

Insert the code wherever it’s required. Cycle through the codes (below)
by pressing repeatedly.
• When you see the character that you need, pause briefly (this inserts
the pause or code), and then enter the rest of the numbers.

Use this character as bypass key.
+
Precede an international telephone number with this character.
p
Use this character to pause 2.5 seconds before dialing (or during
DTMF).
w
Use this character to create a “wait” after a number is dialed.
This instructs your phone to wait for a press of the key
before it sends the number.

Press OK when finished.
Note:
When cycling through the dialing codes, anything more than a
brief pause discontinues viewing and inserts the code into the
string of numbers.
