1. From the Start screen, swipe left.
2. Tap Settings.
3. Tap lock screen.
4. Tap the Password slider to turn on.
5. Enter a new password.
6. Tap the Confirm password field and re-enter the password.
7. Tap done.
Turn on / off device lock
To turn on or turn off the device lock password or PIN, follow these steps:
1. From the Start screen, swipe left.
2. Tap Settings.
3. Tap lock screen.
4. Tap the Password slider to turn off.
5. Enter the password.
PUK Code Unlock
If you enter a PIN code incorrectly several times in a row, the device blocks you from attempting again. To
enter a PUK code and unblock the PIN, follow these steps:
Important: You must call Customer Care for the PUK code. Entering the wrong code can permanently
damage your SIM card.
1. Contact Customer Service to request your PUK code.
2. Tap Emergency call or Dial pad.
3. Enter the following: **05*PUK*New PIN*Reenter New PIN#
4. Tap ok.
