Important: Always enable one of the available encryption methods to increase
the security of your wireless LAN connection. Using encryption reduces the risk of
unauthorized access to your data.
Wireless LAN
Select Menu > Ctrl. panel > Connectivity > Wi-Fi.
To use this service, you must obtain an unlicensed mobile access (UMA) subscription
from your service provider. The correct settings may already be configured in your
device. For more information, contact your service provider.
Select from the following:
• Available networks — View and connect to an available network.
• Saved networks — View and connect to a saved network.
• Wi-Fi connection — Activate Wi-Fi connectivity.
• Get security key — Receive access point security settings.
• Add new network — Add and save a network in your device.
The available options may vary.
Available networks
Select Menu > Ctrl. panel > Connectivity > Wi-Fi.
To view the available networks, select Available networks. The networks are listed in
order of signal strength.
To connect to a network, select the network and Connect.
To disconnect from the network, select the network and Disconnect.
To refresh the list of available networks, select Options > Refresh.
The available options may vary.
Saved networks
Select Menu > Ctrl. panel > Connectivity > Wi-Fi.
To view the saved networks, select Saved networks.
To connect to a network, select the network and Connect.
To disconnect from the network, select the network and Disconnect.
Select Options and from the following:
• Edit — Edit the network settings.
• Add to saved networks — Add a network to the saved networks list.
• Change priority — Change the order of networks on the list.
