18. Test all connections between the
power source and the unit for excessive
heat during normal operations.
19. Install facepate. Line up the facepate
vents with the air-out fan openings in the
AC base pate. Use the 8 screws to secure
the facepate to the ceiling of your ve-
hicle. The DIY kit screws do not require
pre-drilling into the ceiling, regardless of
finish or material (wood or metal).
The facepate does not screw into the
base of the AC unit. It attaches (flush)
to the vehicle’s ceiling directly.
