Why does the flame on my Norcold 482 Refrigerator light and then go out?
    • R
      Rebecca JosephAug 7, 2025
If the flame on your Norcold Refrigerator lights and then goes out, several factors could be at play. First, ensure the thermocouple is correctly positioned within the flame; if not, realign the combination control and reinstall the knob. Also, verify the tightness of the thermocouple connection into the combination control, checking the retaining clip. If the issue persists, and the water column pressure is less than 11", your main tank regulator must be adjusted. For further assistance, consult the section on Gas Pressure Checks.
