Disposal of the packaging material:
The packaging protects your appliance from damage during transportation. All packaging materials are recyclable and display
the recycling symbol.
Ensure that any plastic wrappings, bags, etc. are disposed of safely and kept out of the reach of children, as they are a poten-
tial source of danger.
Please ask your dealer or your local authority about relevant means of safe disposal.
Disposal of the appliance:

1. Please read the operating and installation instructions carefully before switching on the appliance.
2. This appliance is intended for domestic use only and only for storing wine. Any other usage is not supported
by the manufacturer and could be dangerous. The manufacturer cannot be held liable for damage resulting from
the incorrect or improper use of the appliance.
3. People who are unable to use the appliance safely due to a physical or mental impairment, or a lack of experience
or knowledge, must not use this appliance without the supervision of a responsible person.
4. This appliance is not a toy! To avoid the risk of injury, do not allow children to play with it or near it, or
to play with the controls. Children must not be allowed to climb inside it or to swing on the door. Please keep
young children under supervision during use. Older children may only use the appliance when its operation has
been clearly explained to them and they are able to use it safely, recognising the dangers of misuse.
5. Check the appliance for any visible damage. Do not install or use a damaged appliance. Contact your
dealer immediately for further advice before plugging it in.
6. This appliance contains the coolant isobutene (R600a), a natural, environmentally-friendly gas. It is important
to ensure that no components of the cooling system were damaged during transport or installation. Leaking coolant
can damage the eyes.
In the event of any damage:
a. Avoid naked ames and anything that may produce a spark
b. Unplug the appliance
c. Air the room the appliance is in for several minutes
d. Contact the service department or dealer for further advice.
The more coolant an appliance contains, the larger the room the appliance is in must be. Leaking coolant can
form a ammable gas-air mixture in rooms which are too small.
According to the EN378standard, the room must be at least 1 m3 per 8 g of cooling agent. The amount of cooling
agent in the appliance is stated on the rating plate inside the appliance.
THE MANUFACTURER OF THIS APPLIANCE CANNOT BE HELD LIABLE FOR DAMAGE CAUSED BY
NON-COMPLIANCE WITH THESE “SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS AND WARNINGS”.
When scrapping the appliance:
1. Pull out the mains plug.
2. Cut off the power cord.
3. Ensure that the coolant circuit is not damaged before disposal. Information about the coolant can be found on the rating
plate.
4. Scrapped appliances must be disposed of in a professional and appropriate way, in accordance with the current local
regulations and legislation.
This appliance is subject to European Directive 2002/96/EC on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment
(WEEE). This symbol indicates that this appliance must not be treated as domestic waste. Valuable raw
materials can be reclaimed by recycling old appliances. By disposing of this appliance correctly, you can help
prevent potentially negative consequences for the environment and public health.
