With device variants SK 2x0E a mains unit is integrated, meaning that no external 24 V DC is
required. For Sizes 1 – 3, connection of an external power source (e.g. mains unit SK xU4-24V-…) is
not intended. No connection terminals are provided for this. Size 4 is equipped with the relevant
connection terminals and enables connection of an external power source ( Section 2.4.3.1 "Control
terminal details ").
The SK 2x5E does not have its own analogue input. In order to be able to evaluate an analogue signal
with this device variant (e.g. from a potentiometer), the analogue signal can be converted into a pulse
signal using the power supply and made usable by an appropriate digital function of the device.
In order to process current setpoints
(0(4) – 20
mA) the enclosed bag includes a
500 Ω
resistor, which must be connected
between terminals 12 and 14. The relevant input
at the frequency inverter is adjusted via
parameter P420.
