      If your Nortek Security & Control Gate Opener's control board senses a continuous alarm obstruction or lack of arm movement, you can take the following steps: Check the fuses, battery harness connections, and address any battery underload or inadequate charge issues. Inspect the transformer, solar panels, and charge source wiring. Also, examine the operator arm connections. If the battery is low, replace it. For an internal motor short, check the motor connections. Ensure proper charging if there's inadequate charge. Inspect primary (white and green) and secondary arm connections (white and green), arm power cable, and arm rev counter.

      If your Nortek Security & Control Gate Opener is giving you an audible feedback of 5 beeps, pause, then 5 beeps, it could mean that the arm power cable wires are shorted, crossed, or cut/disconnected. Inspect and repair the arm power cable wires. Also, check the arm rev counter for a stuck switch.

You should inspect and repair the arm power cable wires. You may also want to check the arm rev counter for a stuck switch.
