  If you are experiencing excessive gear box noise with your North Star Portable Generator, check the following: * Fill the gear box to the oil level sight if the gear oil is low or missing. * Reposition the tractor or generator to reduce the PTO driveline angle to less than 15° both vertically and horizontally. * Disassemble and reassemble the PTO driveline with CV joints synchronized if it's unsynchronized.
