1. Turn off motor.
2. Remove debris.
After the motor is off, clean debris from the log splitter.
3. Return to horizontal position.
If in the vertical position, return log splitter to the horizontal position for greater stability and
to prepare for transportation.
4. Charge battery.
Plug charger into battery or battery box (if battery is already installed in battery box, if not see
step 4 in operation section to install). See charger manual for more detail.
ONLY USE NorthStar Charger item #5050015. Using other chargers may result in fire
and/or bursting (explosion).
Do not charge the battery during operation. This can damage the battery.
