Usage Features:

Safety Features:

  • High Pressure Safety Device (Rupture Disc): This unit is equipped with a high-pressure safety device that acts as a backup safety feature. If the unloader malfunctions, the high-pressure safety device will open and relieve excess system pressure.
  • High Temperature Limit / Thermostat: Measures discharge spray temperature and automatically turns off the burner when the temperature setting is reached. The burner automatically reignites when the temperature drops.
  • Thermal Relief Valve: Protects the pump from overheating. In bypass mode, if temperatures are too high, the valve opens to discharge hot water onto the ground, protecting the pump.
  • Spray Gun Safety Latch: A built-in trigger safety latch guards against accidental trigger actuation.
  • Warning Labels: Various labels indicate potential hazards such as danger, warning, and caution for fire, battery, burn, slips, and rupture disk.

Set-up and Operation:

  • Battery Installation: Requires a 12-volt standard lawn and garden battery (Group U1) with a minimum 18 amp-hour rating. The engine will run without a battery, but the burner will not fire. Specific instructions are provided for connecting and disconnecting battery cables to avoid shock and sparking.
  • Moving and Handling: The pressure washer is heavy and requires at least two people or a mechanical assist to lift. It has wheels and brakes for movement and positioning.
  • Fueling: Requires regular, unleaded gasoline for the engine and #1 or #2 diesel, B5 or lower biodiesel, kerosene, or fuel oil for the burner. Fueling must be done outdoors, away from heat/sparks, using an approved portable container, and avoiding overfilling.
  • Water Supply Connection: Requires a garden hose (at least 5/8" ID, or 3/4" ID if >100 ft) connected to a standard tap water supply (20-75 psi, 4.8 gpm). A backflow preventer is recommended.
  • High-Pressure Hose Connection: The 3/8" x 50' high-pressure hose connects to the water outlet using quick couplers.
  • Spray Nozzles: Comes with five high-pressure nozzles (Red 0°, Yellow 15°, Green 25°, White 40°, Black-Low pressure 65°) and one low-pressure nozzle (Black-Low pressure for chemicals). Each color corresponds to a specific spray angle and intended use (e.g., Red for highest impact, Black for chemicals).
  • Chemical Spraying: Chemicals can be applied at low pressure using the black nozzle. The chemical injector's adjustment knob controls concentration.
  • Hot Spray/Steam: The burner can be turned on for hot spray or steam, provided there is fuel in the burner tank and the engine throttle is fully open.
