Troubleshooting flow chart for failure to start the gasoline engine:
COMMON REASONS ENGINE WILL NOT START
Causes
Solutions
Low oil shutdown
Fill engine with the adequate amount of oil
No fuel
Add gas to fuel tank.
Engine not turned ON
Place Engine Switch in the ON position
Dead batteries (Recoil Engines Only)
Replace (2) 9V batteries
Dead battery (Electric Start Only)
Replace/charge 12V battery
Spark plug wire not attached
Attach spark plug wire to spark plug
