Place the base plinth on a level surface and adjust the feet using a spirit level. Connect the bearing earthing lead to the amplifier.
Pour 2 caps (2.0ml) of oil into the bearing well using the supplied pipette.
Gently lower the spindle into the bearing well and allow it to settle for a few minutes.
Insert lifting handles and carefully lower the platter onto the spindle. Retain handles for future use.
Place three damping rings around the platter and position the graphite mat on top.
Align pulley grooves with platter grooves by adjusting the motor cassette. Avoid pressing the pulley.
Attach your choice of tonearm to the armboard. Refer to specific arm instructions for alignment and height adjustment.
Plug the motor unit into the power supply connector and switch on. A light indicates power; slight pulley vibration is normal.
Place the timing strobe on the platter, start it, and use an electronic strobe for precise speed adjustment.
Allow spindle and bearing to bed in. Change oil every 2 years by repeating steps 2 to 4.
Wash drive belt and damping rings. Clean turntable with a lint-free cloth. Avoid polish. Cover when not in use.
Clean the stylus from back to front using methylated spirits and a small brush.
Turntable accommodates an extra armbase. Contact dealer for further assistance.
