CLEANING AND CHANGING FILTERS
Maintaining Your NQ Clarifier
FOR YOUR INFORMATION - HEPA LIFE RATING
THE HEPA & CARBON DRUM FILTER
The HEPA filter MAY last up to 3 years in some areas, the carbon filter MAY last up to 2 years. The
longevity of the HEPA or the carbon filter depends on the amount of use and the amount of contaminants in
the room air where the filter is being used. After changing the "Pre-filter" if the red light stays on, you should
change the inner HEPA drum. As the carbon media comes to the end of its life – chemically and
environmentally sensitive (MCS) people, multiple pet households, and smokers may detect contaminants at
lower levels and will have to change the Filter sooner.
THE FREQUENCY GUIDELINES FOR THE CHANGE OF FILTERS
NOTE: This chart shows only estimates of the life of the filters. Frequency of filter changes may
vary depending on levels of usage.
